Answers

Are my orders secure? Yes.  As a part of our web hosting with 1and1 Internet, we have a QuickSSL Premium registration with GeoTrust.  This agreement causes all of the information submitted by Twin-Springs to be encoded and secure so that your order information is safe.

What format do my photos/images have to be in? - We can accept any object (photo, drawing, etc.) that can be scanned up to 8½x11½ inches in size.  We also accept 35mm slides and negatives.  If you have digital files then please send them on a diskette or CD with your order, or attach them to an email with the order instructions.

Can I get a large quantity of products? - We are staffed and set up for high quality product production of a limited number of items.  We welcome requests for 1-50 of an item, but would be pressed to do 100's in a timely fashion.  There are other companies that are printing shops oriented toward high volume production.

Can you provide other products? - Although we have a basic product line, we have responded to special orders (mouse pads, magnets, etc.) on request.  If you do not see what you need please contact us or give us a call.

Can you ship products as gifts directly to recipient? - Yes.  This is what we refer to as a "split shipment".  We can return the original photographs/images back to you and ship different sets of products to multiple addresses.  There is a slight additional Shipping & Handling charge for each additional address.  We can enclose a gift card (at no additional expense) with each shipment.  Include the "split shipment" instructions as a part of your order.

Do I get everything back? - Yes.  We return all of your materials with your order.  The only exceptions are:

  • The envelope you used to mail your materials to us, and
  • Those materials that are in conflict with our "No-Porn Policy" as we destroy them.

How do I send my photos to you? - The key is to make sure that they do not get bent or crumpled in the mail.  We have gathered a set of helpful hints on our "Prepare Material" instructions.

How soon can I get my order? - We try to be both very quick and very careful while producing quality products.  In most cases, depending upon the quantity of items in the order, have been able to complete your order and send it back to you in 1-2 days.  With a 2-3 day priority mail delivery, the elapsed time from when we receive your photographs/slides/negatives is generally 3-5 days.

What if I do not have a printer? - You have two options, either give us a call or send an email (via the "Contact Us" button) and we will send the appropriate order forms to you, or note the information that we need and put it in a separate document.  An order does not have to be on an "official" form.

What if it is not right? - If there is a possible area of confusion we contact you before preparing the product.  Our return policy is on the "Place Order" web page.

What is a "Dates Only" Calendar? - These monthly calendars do not have any special dates, only the date for each day in the month.

What is a "Multiple Month" Calendar? - These calendars have multiple months, normally 3, on each page.  This reduces the number of pages for each year.  This is a form of a Dates Only Calendar.

What is a "Special Dates" Calendar? - These calendars have dates which unique to you (anniversaries, birthdays, etc.).  Each date caption may indicate 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. if a start year is provided.  25 special dates are included in the calendar price.  Holiday dates are part of the standard calendar.

What is an "Image"? - An image is anything that can be scanned (less than 8½x11½ inches).  It may be your children's art work, a drawing, a collage or other art work.  If you want to combine multiple photographs into a single image, please put then on a white 8½x11 sheet of paper, and we will scan them as a single image.

Which paper do you recommend? - Through trial-and-error we have found that ...

  • The "Glossy" paper is best for calendars as the photo image turns out the best.  Our initial concern about not being able to write on them has been solved by using Sanford "Sharpie" Ultra-Fine pens.
  • The "Card Stock" paper is best for the Remembrance Calendars as they can be written on with pencil and then changed over time.
  • We generally use "Glossy" paper for the Note Cards, but in cases where the image is a water color or painting they often look better on "Matte" paper.
