Gerlache Strait parallels the northern side of the Antarctica Peninsula.  It is the way to go south from Deception Island to the Lemaire Channel and back north to Half Moon Island. 

Due to the cancelled Zodiac rides we had some special entertainment.  When we came out at 10:30pm we were surprised with snow on the deck and a field of icebergs.  In Antarctica there a surprises around every turn and the weather can change very quickly.
